The Norwich & District Museum is housed in an 1889 Quaker Meeting House. The seasonal outbuildings, open May to September, include two barns dedicated to the Society's agricultural, dairy and manufacturing artifacts, the original Saltbox home of Norwich's first settler, Peter Lossing, an early 20th century Quaker schoolhouse, Blacksmith Shop and the 1861 Gore United Church. The archives contains Township of Norwich Records and archival holdings for local family histories and genealogies, census records, historical maps, an extensive photo collection, as well as countless resources on the founding families of Norwich Township.
