Avon Trail which covers 113 kilometres through scenic countryside. It begins where the Thames Valley Trail finishes in St. Marys and ends in the village of Conestogo where it meets the Grand Valley Trail. A very picturesque part of it winds through the Harrington area.

Eligibility: Anyone who abides by the Trail Users' Code: Stay on the marked trail, dogs must be leashed, Do not pick wildflowers or forage, Do not litter, Walk at the edge of cropped fields.
Fees: A fee is charged if accessing the Avon Trail at the Wildwood CA kiosk. If accessing the Avon Trail/Wildwood Blue Lake trail from Line 31 north of Harrington, no fee is charged for Avon Trail members

Trail Directions: The west end of the trail in Oxford County starts at Wildwood Conservation Area. Cross Hwy 7 & 19 at south end of Wildwood Dam. The trail then skirts the shore of Wildwood Lake. This portion of the trail is also part of Wildwood Conservation Area?s 18 km Loop Trail. Further information may be obtained at W.C.A.?s Visitor Centre, on the north side of the Lake, near the Highway. It exits Oxford County at the intersection of Embro Road (Perth County Rd. 113) and Fairview. At this point the trail goes north up Perth County Rd. 113.

Accessibility: No Wheelchair Access
Address Notes: Location: The west end of the trail in Oxford County starts at Wildwood Conservation Area. Cross Hwy 7 & 19 at south end of Wildwood Dam. The trail then skirts the shore of Wildwood Lake. This portion of the trail is also part of Wildwood Conservation Area's 22 km Blue Lake Trail. Futher information may be obtained at W.C.A.'s Visitor Centre, on the north side of the Lake, near the Highway. Gate fees are charged for day use and camping. It exits Oxford County at the intersection of Embro Road (Perth County Rd. 113) and Fairview. At this point the trail goes north up Perth County Rd. 113.
