Domestic Abuse Services Oxford (DASO)(formerly Women's Emergency Centre - Oxford)offers services and programs to help abused women and their children * These include: A 24-hour crisis line available to anyone in the community who needs help and advice about an issue involving domestic violence * A 17-bed emergency shelter for abused women and their children; Safety planning and risk assessments for women and children * Transitional Housing and Support Program for women who want to make the transition to an independent, violence-free life * Community-based counselling and support programs for women and children including Journeys for children exposed to domestic violence * School-based violence prevention and education programs
